Team Lead – Finance Department, KMET
Dr. Eunice A. Achola is an accomplished financial management expert with over 20 years of experience in financial leadership, donor fund management, accounting, and strategic planning. She currently serves as the Team Lead in the Finance Department at KMET, where her integrity, foresight, and innovation have been instrumental in strengthening the organization’s financial sustainability and operational efficiency.
Dr. Achola holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Finance, as well as a bachelor’s degree in finance all from Maseno University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an active member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), Membership No. 23517.
Throughout her career, she has held key financial roles in respected organizations including AED, SWAP, WIFIP, and KMET, where she has consistently championed sound financial systems, robust internal controls, and strategic donor fund management. Her contributions have led to sustained financial growth, even beyond donor cycles, positioning KMET for long-term viability.
As a member of KMET’s Board of Management, Dr. Achola has been a driving force in enhancing transparency, accountability, and strategic resource mobilization. Under her leadership, the organization has experienced a notable rise in grant income and increased confidence from partners and stakeholders.
