Kisumu in pivotal step towards improving maternal-fetal outcomes -through the MaPEMA project

The successful meeting to introduce the “MaPEMA” Project and its implementation plan to Kisumu County Health technical teams marked a pivotal step towards improving maternal-fetal outcomes in the region.
The primary objective of the meeting was to sensitize the County Health Management Team (CHMT) and stimulate collaborative brainstorming on ways to enhance healthcare through the integration of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS).
With Center For Public Health and Development(CPHD) and the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB) as the umbrella, this undertaking will be a game changer in the health sector.
The meeting was officially opened by the Kisumu Director of Health Dr. Ogolla who set a tone of enthusiasm and commitment among the participants.
In attendance was imaging the world Africa-Kenya-who are partners who help in enhancing training and diagnostic capabilities.
